Catch the Buzz in Hahira!
Calling all honey lovers, families, and folks who just love a good time…the Hahira Honeybee Festival is back for its 44th year September 29-October 4! Whether you’re here for the honey, the food, the live music, or just a sweet celebration, this festival is sure to be the bee’s knees!
The schedule is buzzing with a full slew of sweet events, beginning with a community breakfast at the historic depot, followed by the Senior Walk and the Brown Bag Luncheon for easygoing strolls and lunch with friends. Throughout the week, wander through arts and crafts booths, catch live music performances, and hit the fish fry for some classic Southern comfort food. And don’t even get us started on the honey treats—candied nuts, honey sticks, and jars of golden goodness are everywhere you turn!
Saturday is the big day. Start your morning with the 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run, cheer on local talent at the Miss Hahira Honeybee Pageant, and grab a front-row spot for the parade. Floats, marching bands, and hometown pride will fill Main Street, giving everyone a reason to cheer and snap a few photos.
One of the best parts? The Hahira Honey Bee Festival is all about celebrating community. Local vendors, artisans, and passionate folks come together each year, sharing their talents, their products, and their love for the town. Whether it’s your first festival or your 44th, there’s something for everyone—and a reason to come back year after year.
So grab your friends, bring the family, and get ready to enjoy a week of food, music, and hometown fun. Come hungry and leave happy—maybe with a jar of honey in hand!
