Ford Fanatics Unite!

Ford Fanatics Unite!

This spring, North Georgia smells a lot like pine, barbecue, and exhaust! From April 2-4, Hiawassee’s Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds will transform into a shiny, revved-up playground for the Georgia Mountain Ford Nationals. This is the kind of event where horsepower and nostalgia meet, and even casual spectators can’t help but get a little gearhead glow in their cheeks!

What’s Happening

The Nationals are all about celebrating Fords of every kind, from classic Mustangs to modern trucks, with every model welcome in the show. The fairgrounds come alive Thursday through Saturday with gleaming rides lined up for fans to admire, giving plenty of room to wander, snap photos, and take in the details that make each vehicle unique.

Every step along the lined-up Fords reveals something worth a second look. Custom touches, vintage restorations, and playful builds invite conversation and curiosity. By the end of the weekend, you’ll have spotted the muscle kings, the timeless classics, and the quirky creations that steal the show, all while soaking in the laid-back North Georgia mountain vibe.

Why You’ll Love It

Even if you can’t tell a camshaft from a carburetor, the show has a pull beyond engines:

  • Laid-back North Georgia vibes – Hiawassee’s mountain charm makes strolling between rows of classics a joy.
  • Friendly crowd – Die-hard fans swap tips, strangers swap stories, and everyone swaps a smile.
  • Easy on the wallet – Tickets are $10 a day, and kids 12 and under get in free.

Parking for the vehicles ranges from $50 pre-registration to $100 for covered spots. Whether you’re entering a truck or just entering the fairgrounds, it’s all about sharing the love of Ford and making memories with locals and travelers alike.

Gearheads, photo enthusiasts, and anyone who likes a little friendly engine envy should mark the weekend. This is Hiawassee showing off its horsepower, hospitality, and heart!
