Stop and Smell the Daisies!

Stop and Smell the Daisies!

Stone Mountain Park is in full bloom, but with more than just flowers! The Yellow Daisy Festival returns September 4-7 for four days of creativity, music, and hands-on fun celebrating Georgia’s thriving maker community. Now in its 57th year, this event blends everything longtime fans love—art, music, food, and family-friendly fun—with new experiences designed to surprise even seasoned festival-goers.

More than 400 artists and crafters will gather in the park’s scenic events meadow to showcase hand-carved, stitched, painted, and sculpted works, all thoughtfully made and full of personality. This isn’t a stroll-and-shop affair—it’s a place to meet the makers, discover something unexpected, and experience art in action!

Beyond the sprawling artist market, two brand-new attractions are shaking things up this year! First, there’s the Fresh Flower & Plant Garden—a pop-up paradise for plant lovers, flower fans, and anyone who enjoys a good fiddle-leaf fig. You can browse blooms, pick out the perfect succulent, or just soak up the color and greenery while imagining your patio looking half this good. It’s a little slice of botanical bliss right in the middle of Stone Mountain Park!

And for a dose of creativity with serious kid power, don’t miss the debut of the Children’s Entrepreneur Market. Here, pint-sized makers set up shop to sell their own crafts, snacks, and clever creations—and yes, they’re running the show themselves. It’s fun, it’s adorable, and it just might be the future of small business. Paired with the newly expanded Kids’ Fun Zone, this year’s Yellow Daisy Festival is packed with ways for families to jump in, play, and explore something new together.

Need a break between shopping sprees? Head to the Beer Garden and Relaxation Zone, where you can sip a cold drink, grab a shady seat, and take it all in. Of course, no festival visit is complete without fabulous eats, and the food scene delivers—from BBQ and global bites to sweet treats and festival favorites that are worth the calories. Whether you’re grazing, chilling, or just people-watching, there’s no wrong way to enjoy it.

This year’s Yellow Daisy Festival isn’t just about browsing booths—it’s a celebration of creativity and community! Admission is included with paid parking admission, so grab the fam and get on the road! From kid-run markets to blooming plant pop-ups and live music under the trees, this festival is worth the trip—and likely to become a favorite tradition!
