The Tomorrow Center Is Helping Children Thrive Today
Most parents measure progress in inches. For families of children with autism, it often looks more like moments. The first time a child makes eye contact during a favorite activity. The morning they choose their own outfit. The laugh that bubbles up when something finally clicks. These moments are small to the world, but massive to the families who cheer for them. Created by someone who has lived every step of that journey, The Tomorrow Center & School understands this more intimately than most. Founder Stephanie Michle spent years searching the country for a place where her children would not just receive support but be genuinely seen, understood, and celebrated. When she couldn’t find it, built the place she wished existed.
Inside The Tomorrow Center, the atmosphere is fun, intentional, and filled with possibility. There are no overwhelming walls or noisy distractions; the focus is on connection. Children ages three to twenty-one learn in a space designed to honor their individuality and encourage their strengths. Co-Founder, Michelle Plymel, BCBA, directs therapists and educators to work together through a relationship-based model that pairs proven strategies with compassion and respect. Families are active partners, not visitors. Every plan is tailored to the child in front of them, nurturing communication, emotional well-being, life skills, independence, and confidence. It’s an environment built on acceptance, joy, and the belief that every child deserves a place where they can grow at their own pace while feeling completely safe and supported.
That’s what earned The Tomorrow Center a 2025 Best of Georgia Honorable Mention Award. It recognizes a community built from love, shaped by expertise, and strengthened by families and staff who show up for one another. For many, this center is more than a school or therapy program; it’s a beacon of hope and a fresh start. And for every child who walks through the doors, it’s a place where their potential is not just acknowledged, but actively nurtured.
