Hot Dogs to Celebrate: Atlanta Falcons Ring of Honor Welcomes Arthur Blank

Falcons fan? Hotdog fan? Have we got news for you. This weekend at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium for the Kansas City Chiefs vs. Atlanta Falcons game, the Falcons will be honoring the induction of team owner Arthur M. Blank into the Atlanta Falcons Ring of Honor. This event comes about through collaboration with Levy Restaurants. The celebration entails FREE hot dogs, chips, and drinks as a special way to honor Blank, who has been the team owner since 2002 and played a pivotal role in transforming the concession fan experience!

Guests (yes, even KC fans) can get two hot dogs and two bags of chips per person, per visit at concession stands across the stadium, through the end of the third quarter. Completely complimentary!  Bonus, guests will also receive a refillable Coca-Cola souvenir cup, based around Arthur Blank's awesome contributions.

According to the Atlanta Falcons News:

"Under Blank's leadership, the food and beverage experience at Mercedes-Benz Stadium set a new standard across sports and entertainment. For the past eight years, the Falcons have ranked No. 1 in food and beverage in the NFL's Voice of the Fan (VOTF) survey. Since opening in 2017, Mercdes-Benz Stadium's food and beverage experience, developed in partnership with Levy, offers access to over 500 different food and beverage options as well as a fan-first menu highlighted by:

  • $2 – Non-alcoholic beverage products with unlimited free refills (at freestanding refill stations)
  • $2 – hot dogs; pretzels; popcorn
  • $3 – Dasani bottled water, pizza; nachos; fries
  • $5 – 12 oz. domestic beer

This transformative pricing model and world-class menu options are available at all Atlanta Falcons and Atlanta United games, as well as major events at Mercedes-Benz Stadium including the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl, SEC Championship Game, the College Football National Championship (2025), FIFA World Cup 2026, concerts, and other ticketed events."

This giveaway is expected to be massive, with 100,000 hot dogs ordered to cover the crowd—significantly more than usual for a single game. The promotion reflects both Blank’s contributions to the team and his ongoing dedication to enhancing the game-day experience for fans.

Blank serves as both an Owner and Chairman of the Atlanta Falcons franchise. Blank acquired the Falcons in 2002 and ushered in an era of unprecedented success. Prior to Blank's arrival, the Falcons had never achieved back-to-back winning seasons, a feat they've achieved five times since. Under his leadership, the team has compiled a 178-176-1 regular-season record with eight playoff showings, including appearances in two NFC Championship games and one Super Bowl (Atlanta Falcons News).

He is being inducted alongside former Quarter Back Matt Ryan -- who will be celebrated during the game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
