The Whataburger Wait Is Over: Kennesaw Location Opens
You know the great burger debate. McDonald's versus Burger King. Shake Shack versus In and Out. While the east coast has rallied behind crinkle fries and shack sauce and the west coast has pledged loyalty "animal style", another chain has thrown their hat into the ring. Whataburger, hailing from Texas, has long been a fan favorite in its home region. It even a designated a Texas Treasure by the state government in 2001. The popular orange themed chain is now making its mark in Georgia.
Kennesaw is anticipating a grand opening November 28th. Located at 705 Town Park Lane NW, Kennesaw, Ga. 30144, the restaurant is set to open it's doors at 11 a.m. While the chain is not new to the state (there is already a location in Thomasville), it plans on expanding to ten new locations in the coming years.

For those visiting us for the very first time, we always recommend starting with the #1, our namesake burger, but you can’t go wrong with any decision when it comes to fresh, made-to-order meals from Whataburger.”
Whataburger opened in 1950 in Corpus Christi, since then it has grown to over 800 locations across the country. Like most burger chains, it has its signature staples: the "whataburger" ®, the whataburger patty melt, french fries and of course shakes. Plus, it claims a famous fancy and spicy ketchup that fans can buy in stores. At the moment, Georgians may be partial to Shake Shack due to its prominence throughout the state with seven restaurants total. Whataburger's is planning ten new resturants, plus the current Thomasville location. We may be awaiting the day an In and Out shows up for some time, as the chain has no plans of migrating from the west coast.
